Didier Charette is a director who specializes in drone crashes and flight delays, all while narrating his own story in the third person. Raised in his uncle's video store in Hawkesbury, Ontario, Didier kicked off his career at 22, juggling the roles of director, producer, and host for the music TV show, BRBR that got him his first Gémeaux Award recognition. For a touch of adventure, he once skateboarded across Québec for a travel show.

Venturing into documentaries and music videos, Didier's storytelling finesse earned him his first Best Director nomination at the 2017 MuchMusic Video Awards. He's directed over 30 music videos for artists ranging from Loud to Obey the Brave, Alex Nevsky, Lisa Leblanc, Geoffroy & Ryan Playground. In 2023, his film "IF" that he wrote and directed was featured at over 20 festivals globally, including SITGES & Oscar-qualifying fests REGARD and Indy Shorts. He won the Audience Award at Fantasia film fest and Best First Film at Filmoramax film fest in France.

In the realms of television and advertising, Didier has amassed a prettydecent collection of accolades, including ADISQ nods for his show on Musiqueplus, Grand Prix wins at the CREA for commercial campaigns he has directed and photographed for clients ranging from McDonald's & Coca-Cola to Universal Music & Epitaph Records.

Currently steering the tricycle on a feature documentary film about the rapper LOUD, Didier feels like he's back to his roots, driven by his enduring love for music documentaries.
